And who is Monkey Island Association? Well, we're a bunch of old-timers and new-timers from Monkey Island, OK on Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, who just plain love it here. Our goal is to help maintain, care for and enhance this incredible community we live in. We promote communication, a healthy lifestyle, charity, a beautiful and safe place to live and education throughout life. Our mantra to achieve all of these, is fun. We are a joyful lot.

 June 1st...Grove Humane Society is holding an adoption day at Walmart

June 8th...OLD MAID CRAWL Monkey Island and Grove businesses are pick up points for your cards...win grand prizes for the best hand!  On Monkey Island pick up points are Tera Miranda Resort at the Quarterdeck Cafe, Cloudpants Studio & Gallery in Island Centre, Las Palmeras Mexican Grill in Island Centre strip mall , Monkey Island Tanning and Apparel & The Den of Uniquity (next to Shebang). Nearby in Bernice at Patties Place the Family Steak House in Southwinds Marina.

June 8th- Walmart FLW  The Walmart FLW Tour on Grand Lake presented by Castrol will visit the Grove, Okla., area June 6-9 for the fifth event of its 18th season. Hosted by the Grand Lake Association, the tournament will feature a full field of the world’s best bass pros and co-anglers casting for top awards of up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.
